The craft beer scene in Nevada is hard to ignore and this is certainly true when it comes to Las Vegas. Over recent years, it has seemed that a new brewery pops up in the city almost every weekend. Of course, this is great news for locals and tourists who enjoy the taste of refreshing craft beers. If you are new to the city or simply do not know much about craft breweries in Nevada, you might not know where to start. There is no need to worry, however, as our ultimate guide to craft breweries in Las Vegas is here to help!

Craft Brew Las Vagas

Big Dog's Brewing Company This craft brewery was founded in the mid-1990s and is famous for being the first-ever micro-brewery in Vegas. It is also a very friendly place to spend time and has some awesome brews to sample. Black Lab stout is perfect if you enjoy its slightly bitter yet moreish taste, while Big Dog's Peace & Love Happiness Pale Ale is very refreshing. This craft brewery started off life at the old Holy Cow casino but has now moved to Walgreens. There is also a superb restaurant here serving tasty treats. HUDL Brewing Company Found in the Downtown Arts area of Las Vegas, this is another welcoming craft brewery. As you would expect from the name, HUDL is a place where you can meet old friends and make new ones. While you are there, you can also try some of the delicious beer it serves. There is a constantly evolving choice but past classics on the menu have included a unique Vanilla Oak Cream ale. Taking its lead from the uber-trendy San Diego craft beer scene, the decor here is a mixture of industrial and wood. Nevada Brew Works Found in the Downtown Arts District of Vegas right next to HUDL is Nevada Brew Works. This is a great place to head if you want to find a craft brewery that offers more than just beer. There is an extensive cocktail menu and a full kitchen that serves mouth-watering pizzas. Of course, the beer selection here is reassuringly good and changes with the seasons. A real favourite is the Ariana Rye IPA, due to its malty and spicy flavor. If you like lemon, the Belgian-inspired Lemondrop Saison is worth sampling.

CraftHaus Brewery The CraftHaus Brewery is located in the Henderson district and is one of the best Las Vegas venues to experience. Set-up by Wyndee and Dave Forrest, it takes its aim from the thriving craft brewery scene in Europe and always offers a warm welcome. It usually serves a choice of around 24 craft beers, and this includes sours, IPAs and lagers. For those who like something with more body, the Belgard stout has plenty of coffee-inspired punch. Many people also rave about the soft pretzels served here!

While the above are some of the best craft breweries to visit in Las Vegas, there are lots of other cool venues to check out too! From Bad Beat Brewing to Lovelady Brewing Company, Mojave Brewing and more, you will never be short of awesome places to sip a beer at.
